Landscapes
Mountains have dominated my landscape paintings for many years because of their visual and spiritual qualities. Most of the imagery in my work has focused on areas above the tree line with emphasis on the powerful geological structures that result in the dynamic imagery.
In the past few years I have concentrated on depicting the upper areas of various mountains that include the ‘accumulation zone’ of glaciers. As more information emerges, we know that glaciers across the glove are endangered because of climate change and rising temperatures.
